The fog was grand yesterday so I called up my friend Erin and went on a little walkabout around Wrigley

Meet Ruby a Canadian – New Yorker / Model / Artist / All around nice girl. She was in town visiting a friend and thankfully I could make some time to get some shots of her.

Some of these are not strictly freckle strong but they are fun shots and I couldn’t help myself.

This is my lovely friend Paige and her freckly badassery. We just tooled around her neighborhood looking for a good location and the garage was my favorite we found though i wish they hadn’t just recently painted it!

Back in December of 2010 Ian Merritt sent me a message saying that he was going to put me in contact with someone at Columbia college because they needed someone to shoot a few ( later turns out to be a ton! ) photographs for their magazine Fictionary one of the publications of the fiction writing department.

Well the magazine is out and I can finally talk about it ( self imposed silence, I wanted to have it in my hands first :D ). I was asked to shoot several people for different aspects/stories in the magazine, but the ones that really stood out and why I jumped all over the opportunity were Audrey Niffenegger and Irvine Welsh!

Also of note, but a name I didn’t connect right away ( to tell you the truth not till about a couple of days before we were supposed to shoot ) was Gabriel Levinson if you are from Chicago you will know him as the Book Bike guy.
