This is a perfect example of why I started this project. I met Stephanie at Maifest through a group of other friends, so someone I didn’t know anything about, had never met, and I got her to agree to meet me for some photos after she got back from her trip to Israel.
The photos were taken around her neighborhood, as usual we walked and talked about different things looking for awesome textures to shoot against. I love doing going in unprepared as far as location; It gives me a chance to talk to the person and get them to open up and be relaxed around the camera, and even talk to or through the camera. We talked about a lot of things, like travel, and if you know me you know that I asked about food and what she had in Israel, like eggs and salad!
In other news, I am moving in less than a week to a bigger place because we are having a baby in August. I should have written this last week but other things have taken my attention away. There is a bonus to us moving beside having a room for the baby, and that is that I get my own room for an office space! I plan on making use of it and I have been discussing with Kelly and other people ideas for what I can do with the space. Lots of excitement and stress.
