Back in December of 2010 Ian Merritt sent me a message saying that he was going to put me in contact with someone at Columbia college because they needed someone to shoot a few ( later turns out to be a ton! ) photographs for their magazine Fictionary one of the publications of the fiction writing department.
Well the magazine is out and I can finally talk about it ( self imposed silence, I wanted to have it in my hands first :D ). I was asked to shoot several people for different aspects/stories in the magazine, but the ones that really stood out and why I jumped all over the opportunity were Audrey Niffenegger and Irvine Welsh!
Also of note, but a name I didn’t connect right away ( to tell you the truth not till about a couple of days before we were supposed to shoot ) was Gabriel Levinson if you are from Chicago you will know him as the Book Bike guy.
