I always read all these fantastic photographer bios but feel a little awkward writing my own. My name is Moises “Moe” Martinez, and I am a photographer living and breathing in Chicago. For those interested, I am currently in the Graceland neighborhood with my beautiful Wife and our cat MJ.
If I had to describe my style of photography, I would say schizophrenic, seriously, I consider myself mainly a portrait and beauty photographer, but that is to say I also consider myself and enjoy architectural and urban landscape photography. If you have seen either type of my photos you would, I hope, come away with a sense of how much I enjoy doing either to it’s fullest. It’s a constant internal battle with me though, I can make some pseudo-anthropological statement here about how society has forced me to think that my portrait work is something that is “taboo”, but really that’s just a crock of shit.
I really hope you enjoy my view of the world, and the people that inhabit my strange corner of it.
